This Drum Lamp Shade is made using a unique hand-dyed fabric created in-house and hand-rolled in my studio Dorset, UK.
All the variety, all the charm, all the beauty of life is made up of light and shadow. Without light, everything is black however white creates energy and is considered safe and open. The contrast of black and white in this shade evokes a fascinating fusion of energy, purity, mystery, power, and elegance that will stand out in any room.
This Drum Lamp Shade has a champagne or a white interior. The champagne lining is opaque and has the effect of funnelling and concentrating the light above and below the shade to give an extra special ambient effect.
Please be aware that due to the distinctive colours and wax resistant dyeing process, there may be some loose dye on the surface of the fabric and some irregularities will inevitably occur.
- All lamp shades are hand rolled using specialist flame retardant PVC linings
- Lamp shades can be used on ceiling fitting and table/floor lamp bases (lamp base not included)
- Each lamp shade frame is designed to fit any UK (Bayonet Cap B22) or European (Edison Screw E27) fitting
- Low energy bulbs are recommended, 60-watt bulb maximum
